Algodones Mayas is a small family business that has been growing cotton for decades. They are in fact the last commercial cotton growers in Guatemala and now produce only the naturally colored un-hybridized cotton that they then supply to various weaving communities.

They are dedicated to the preservation of our ecosphere through preserving these ancient strains of cotton and using ecologically friendly growing methods. They are equally committed to providing highly skilled traditional weavers with the means to market their skills to an appreciative market.
